When I woke up this morning, I was as excited as I have ever been for Christmas. All the presents were wrapped and placed neatly under the tree. With Christmas songs playing, I felt like a little child anticipating the arrival of Santa Claus. My husband and I delivered Christmas treats and then returned home for an afternoon nap before our family arrives for Christmas dinner.
Christmas! I love everything about it!
As I anticipate our traditional Christmas Eve reading of the nativity story, I am reminded of the birth of our Savior, the Light of the world. And my heart is filled to overflowing for the love He willingly gives to me. By love, He was born into the world, because of love He gave His life so that we might live, and with love, He shares his light eternally.
May we all feel His love and share His light is my Christmas wish.
